GESTETUD is the manager of quality student residences for short or long stays.

1- In general, the User can consult the website without being obliged to identify himself, he will then have access to the following services:
– Find out more about the activity and history of GESTETUD
– Consult the services offered in the student residences managed by the company GESTETUD
– Carry out a search for the rental of student accommodation
– Consult the Frequently Asked Questions set up by the company GESTETUD
– Consult articles on the subject of renting student accommodation
– Consult published reviews
– Read the privacy policy of GESTETUD
The User must provide personal data to access the following services:
– Fill out a contact form
– Submit a rental application
The prior creation of a Personal Account by the User and allows him/her to access the following additional services:
Submit an online application and its supporting documents, track your file, pay the deposit online and then sign your lease online
2- The User may freely consult the website and examine availability and rental rates. Availability and rates displayed on the site are subject to change at any time.
3- GESTETUD implements the technical solutions at its disposal to allow access to its website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
However, this is simply an obligation of means.
It may, at any time, suspend, limit or interrupt access to this service in order to make updates, changes to its content or any other action deemed necessary for the proper functioning of the service.
4- The User is solely responsible for the proper functioning of his/her equipment and access to the Internet.
Article 3.1: Submission of a rental file
Users interested in renting student accommodation in a Residence offered by GESTETUD can submit their request via the "Submit your application" link.
The User must therefore provide his/her civil status, contact details, the name of the school he/she must join, the name of his/her guarantor and must then submit the supporting documents requested for the constitution of the rental file.
The file will only be sent to GESTETUD on the condition that the User has consented to the processing of his data by ticking a box declaring that he accepts these general terms and conditions of use and by validating his choice by clicking on it.
When submitting his/her application, the User undertakes to comply with the legal and regulatory provisions in force and in particular, but not limited to:
– To impersonate a third party,
– Intentionally communicating false, erroneous or misleading content,
– To hinder access and the proper functioning of the site,
In order for the application to be firm and definitive, the User must ensure that his rental file includes all the supporting documents indicated and submits one or more guarantors (natural or legal person) of his commitments.
The User may cancel his/her application at any time as long as it has not yet been accepted by GESTETUD.
Article 3.2: Study of the file
The User's application will only be accepted after an examination of his rental file by the company GESTETUD.
Thus, the mere submission of a rental file on this site does not entitle the User to obtain accommodation in the student residence he or she has chosen.
If GESTETUD finds that a document is erroneous, illegible, missing or invalid, the User may rectify his file within 7 days of notification of the incompleteness of the file.
GESTETUD reserves the right to refuse the application if the supporting documents provided do not meet the required selection criteria.
It will therefore inform the User of the acceptance or rejection of his application.
Article 3.3: Acceptance of the application
The acceptance of an application after submission of the rental file results in a reservation of student accommodation for the User.
A booking fee will be charged to the User.
The reservation of the accommodation is nominative and can in no way be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge or for a fee.
By making this reservation, the User and the company GESTETUD undertake to conclude a rental contract for furnished accommodation with para-hotel services within a maximum period of 6 months.
Article 3.4: Cancellation of the reservation
1- The User whose application has been accepted by GESTETUD may cancel his reservation free of charge in the following cases:
– In the event of failure of the exam upon presentation of proof
– In the event of non-admission to the academy in the jurisdiction of the student residence to which the User has applied.
– In the event of withdrawal in accordance with Article L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code, which provides that "The consumer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal from a contract concluded at a distance without having to justify his decision".
To exercise their right of withdrawal, the User must inform GESTETUD by email at the infos@gestetud.fr address or by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt at the following address:

The User will find in Article 12 of these conditions a model withdrawal form.
2- If the User whose application has been accepted by GESTETUD wishes to cancel his/her reservation for a reason other than those referred to in the previous article or beyond the legal withdrawal period, the reservation fee will not be refunded.
The 1st rent called will be due in the event of cancellation of the reservation less than 31 days before the effective date of the rental contract, concluded between the User and the company GESTETUD.
Article 4.1: Creation of a Personal Account
The creation of a personal account by the User requires the provision of identification data, contact details and a password.
The User undertakes to provide accurate information when creating his account and to update it regularly.
The User is advised to use a strong password and limit the use of this password to this account. The User must keep his/her login data secret and must not disclose them to third parties.
In the event of disclosure of the password, GESTETUD cannot be held responsible for the actions of the third party who uses it.
The User is prohibited from creating an account under the identity of a third party.
Article 4.2: Management of a Personal Account
The User may change his/her password at any time.
The User is responsible for the risks associated with the use of his/her login ID and password.
GESTETUD cannot be held responsible for the misuse of the Personal Account by the User.
The User undertakes to immediately inform GESTETUD of any fraudulent or unauthorized use of his account.
The User may request the closure of his/her Personal Account at any time on the condition that he/she no longer occupies an accommodation rented out by the company GESTETUD.
The request to close the account must be made to the company GESTETUD.
The User assumes full responsibility for the information and content on the site concerning him/her.
Thus, the User undertakes to comply with the legal and regulatory provisions in force and in particular, but not limited to:
– To impersonate a third party,
– Intentionally communicating false, erroneous or misleading content,
– To hinder access and the proper functioning of the site,
If the User has not complied with his/her obligations, GESTETUD may decide to remove the User's access to his/her account, temporarily or permanently, without any prior notification or compensation.
GESTETUD reserves the right to take legal action against the User and may also claim compensation for its damage due to the User's wrongful behaviour.
The User is responsible for the quality of the data and documents that he/she transmits to GESTETUD. It is therefore committed to protecting its own documents from any corruption or contamination by any type of malware.
The User acknowledges that GESTETUD cannot guarantee the automatic reservation of the accommodations available on the site.
GESTETUD undertakes to implement the necessary measures to protect the User's personal data.
Given that the Internet is not a completely secure environment, GESTETUD cannot fully guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information on the Internet.
Thus, GESTETUD cannot be held liable for any damage suffered by the User due to the use of the Internet network to connect to the site.
GESTETUD cannot be held liable if the performance of one of its obligations is prevented or delayed by a case of force majeure as defined in Article 1218 of the Civil Code.
GESTETUD is the sole owner of all intellectual property rights over the content of the https://www.gestetud.fr/ site or the documents necessary for the provision of services to the User.
The User is prohibited from any reproduction, copying or publication of this various content, without the express prior written consent of the company GESTETUD.

The creation of a rental file on the site requires the processing of sensitive personal data, thus, the company GESTETUD ensures that the User has consented to the processing of his data by ticking a box declaring that he accepts these general terms and conditions of use and by validating his choice by a click.
The use of the services offered by GESTETUD is subject to French law.
If any part of these Terms is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, those provisions shall be deemed unwritten and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
